How They Met

Kiara’s sister knew Lucas thought they would be a good match, so she facilitated an introduction in a group setting. They immediately hit it off and have been together since that night!

The Proposal

Lucas proposed in November. Kiara loves Christmas, so he and his best man decorated the pine trees in their backyard with Christmas lights while Kiara was away. When she came home he took her to the backyard to show her the trees and there was Christmas music playing, and he proposed there. It was very sweet because he and his best friend, who flew here from Boston, MA just for the proposal, vlogged the whole day and everything they did to prepare for the romantic proposal.

The Romantic Details

Kiara had so many well thought out boho details and the barn was the epitome of rustic romance. She kept the tables classic with white linens, glass hurricane enclosed candlesticks (with battery candles), greenery and clear and gold chargers.

On their head table she added colored goblets and had rust colored accents throughout the barn. She also had the cutest display of mini jars of honey for guest favors right next to her giant four tiered wedding cake!

Kiara wanted a romantic boho wedding and we think she executed it perfectly!

Getting Ready and Romantic Bridal Portraits

Kiara and her girls got ready in our bridal suite and then went into the white pavilion for her first look with her bridesmaids and portraits.

The Guys

The guys channeled boho with their tan suits and Lucas's rust colored suit. The October fall foliage looked so great with their colored suits!

The Boho Outdoor Ceremony

Kiara and Lucas chose not to see each other prior to the ceremony and the pictures of Lucas watching Kiara walk down the aisle are so sweet and romantic.

Why They Chose Arlington Acres for their Wedding

It will also be a remembrance for generations that are here now and those to come. “This venue is absolutely beautiful! We didn’t need much decor because the venue just speaks for itself. I feel like it would work for all styles of weddings as well. After our wedding I was so sad realizing that I would probably never be back there, unless someone else had an event there but I fell in love with it from the first time we saw it. On top of how great the venue is, the owner is so nice and helpful! She had open houses throughout the year which was nice to get better ideas and bring family and friends in. The Romantic Boho Wedding Details

This romantic boho October wedding was just stunning. Copacetic Blend helped the girls prep for the day. Florals were created by Downtown Deco and City Six Strings provided music as Kiara walked down the aisle. Dinner was served by AJ’s Weddings Plus with a cake baked by Janes Cakes and Confections. They got down on the dance floor with Pulse Entertainment. Kiara and Lucas's big day was photographed by Brookmade Photography and videoed by Brett James Creative.
